Thanks for your observation, Justyna. I wrote this post to encourage those feeling abandoned, alone, rejected, unworthy of love. I believe that’s how Jesus (God-come-to-earth in the flesh) saw the adulteress woman. His reaction was love and mercy (as it is for us). So, though Jesus may not have known her personally, He knew everything about her. And He invited her to repent, without condemnation (John 8.11). Jesus also saw how the religious leaders viewed her, and knew their goal was to charge Him with a crime punishable unto death. As for Nathaniel, I wrote about his encounter with Jesus in a recent post, so I was glad to see your reference. I love John 1.43-50, where Philip tells Nathaniel, “Come and see...” Nathaniel went with Philip, and did meet Jesus. Interesting to note: Jesus' words to Nathaniel were, “I SAW you...before Philip CALLED you.” Nathaniel's eyes were then opened, as Jesus revealed Himself (as He did to the women), in love and mercy. Praise God!

However there is also the verses Jesus said about calling out our brother and in this case he didn’t I guess know the woman personally so he didn’t make an example of calling her out although even if he didn’t he would have known her just as he claimed to have known nathanial so in this case it’s not clear to me why he didn’t also call her out.
